Eragon Enviro Tech Signs Cooperation Agreement with CAS IUE to Advance Battery Recycling and Wastewater Co-Treatment Technologies

On October 13, 2025, the Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS IUE) and the Xiamen Torch High-Tech Industrial Development Zone held a cooperation signing ceremony to strengthen technology transfer and innovation collaboration, covering areas such as platform development, industry–academia cooperation, talent development, and key project implementation.

During the event, Eragon Enviro Tech (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. officially signed a provincial-level science and technology cooperation project with CAS IUE titled “Targeted Regeneration of Strategic Minerals for New Energy Applications and Key Technologies for Integrated Wastewater Treatment and Industrialization.”

Mr. Tianhuo Wang, Vice General Manager of Eragon Enviro Tech, attended the ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of the company.

The project addresses the growing challenges of end-of-life power battery recycling driven by the rapid expansion of the electric vehicle industry. It aims to develop an efficient, environmentally friendly, and low-carbon recycling process with proprietary technologies, enabling high-value recovery of strategic minerals. In addition, wastewater co-treatment will be integrated into the overall solution to support circular economy development and long-term sustainability.

Eragon Enviro Tech will work closely with its partners to accelerate scale-up and industrial implementation of these key technologies.
