FR Series fouling resistant reverse osmosis membrane elements are engineered for demanding industrial water and wastewater applications where high organic load and scaling risks are present.
Featuring optimized surface chemistry and stable rejection performance, the FR Series helps reduce cleaning frequency and extend system service life.
FR Series - Fouling Resistant RO Membrane Elements
The FR Series is specifically developed for industrial water reuse, electroplating wastewater, textile dyeing, and other high-fouling environments where conventional RO membranes may experience rapid performance decline.
Through optimized membrane chemistry and enhanced surface smoothness, the FR Series delivers consistent permeate flux while maintaining strong salt rejection, making it suitable for continuous operation in complex feed water conditions.

Membrane Element Working Principle (RO)

Step 1 – Feed Water Inlet
High-fouling feed water with elevated organics, SDI, or suspended solids enters the FR membrane element under operating pressure.
Step 2 – Membrane Separation
The modified membrane surface reduces organic adhesion and particulate deposition while allowing water molecules to pass through.
Step 3 – Permeate Collection
Permeate is collected through the central tube with stable flux performance, even under fluctuating feed water conditions.
Step 4 – Concentrate Discharge
Rejected contaminants are discharged as concentrate, minimizing fouling accumulation on the membrane surface.
Step 5 – Continuous Operation
The fouling-resistant design supports longer cleaning intervals, reduced CIP frequency, and improved system stability.
